I believe every birthing person has a choice to have a birth in which they feel supported, informed, and emotionally heard. As a certified birth doula, my main goal is to hold space for the birthing person as they labor and provide unconditional support.
I have worked as preschool teacher for over 10 years, a nanny and before that started babysitting as soon as I could walk down to the neighbors’ house. I have provided numerous clients with exceptional postpartum care.
I am certified through International Doula Institute and Cornerstone Birthwork and am certified in the rebozo techniques. The rebozo is a traditional long cloth that is used as a tool during labor to relieve pain during contractions and can help make space for baby. I have been trained through The Institute of Birth, Breath, and Death for holding space through pregnancy and infant loss.
I will provide a calm and sacred space using all non medical tools to help facilitate a birth that is your own. Being by your side with each stage of labor with compassion and evidence based information. However you decide to birth I will honor and support you.
